We all know that we need the bees and that they are in danger, so what can we do about it?
It seems like a daunting task, but there are small, everyday things that you can do to support our local pollinators. Planting flowers year round that offer bees the pollen and nectar that they need to survive, making fresh water available to the bees to drink from, these are just a few examples of things that you can do.
Pollinator.org is an organization dedicated to the awareness and education of the public on the dire situation we are in and what we can do to help. The organization takes donations that go towards educating our youth (start ’em young!) and supporting our amazing local farmers that take the essential steps to make their farms bee friendly.
In preparation for Earth Day 2018 we want to put our money where our mouth is and step up to promote this amazing cause.
At all our local markets we will be giving away our Save the Bees reusable bags in exchange for donations to Pollinator.org.
Also, we have our awesome new Save the Bees t-shirts for sale for $20 and $2 from every purchase will go straight to the cause.
